We are proud to bring you SMACK’N Guamanian Grill; a new and exciting, family-owned Guamanian fast-casual dining restaurant located in San Diego! Our desire is to introduce the island flavor of Guam to you using our homemade recipes passed down from generation to generation in our family. To our island natives, we hope to take your taste buds home for the duration of your experience!

The SMACK in “SMACK’N” is an acronym for Sudo-Mesa Authentic Chamorro Kitchen. Our family name is Sudo Mesa and our family comes from the village of Yona. Our beloved mother and grandmother, Rosa Baza Sudo Mesa was a small business owner back on the island who raised cows, sold milk and beef to the Artero Store in Agana Heights and later expanded to selling baked goods at her home bakery. She then used her business to help others during funerals, weddings, christenings, and other events. On April 1, 2013, Rosa passed away leaving a legacy SMACK’N Guamanian Grill to continue by her grandson, Christian Graham. We carry on our beloved Rosa Baza Sudo Mesa’s spirit by putting God first, working hard, and giving back to the community.

We thank all of our family, friends, and CHAMORU community who have helped us on the coming of SMACK'N Guamanian Grill. Above all, we give all the glory to God. Without Him, this would not be possible as He has given us our peace and reassurance during this next chapter in our lives.
